Tiny Hands™ Crafts

A super program teaching the basics of art to tiny tots and pre-schoolers ages 2-6. This highly successful, very popular program was started by Abigail Dion over 20 years ago through the Montgomery County Recreation Department.

Come see what Tiny Hands can do! This "hands on" class encourages children to be creative, get messy, and have fun with paint, glue, glitter, foam, fabric, wood items, flower pots, and more. Kids will make “keeper” projects per class (not just a bunch of paper). Projects will change each session, usually themed according to the season. Please bring a smock or clothes that don’t matter if they get ruined. An adult presence is required, but remember, these projects belong to the kids.

Sessions usually run 4 or 5 consecutive weeks and start at various times throughout the year. Cost and availablity varies due to Covid restrictions. We recomment looking into our homeschool programs instead.

While our Summer Art Program (camps) are in session, we are not accepting regular customers in the studio until after 3 pm.

* From time to time, we may adjust our hours for seasonal or special event reasons, i.e., extended hours for the Christmas Holiday season. We reserve the right to close up to one hour early if there are no painters in our studio. If you are planning to come by to pick up a finished piece within that last hour, please call ahead to let us know you are coming.
